How much of today’s mess is due to 30 years stalling actions of the WEF in Davos and other greenwashing events?

A lot. The best way to prevent progress is to appoint a committee to discuss the matter. It works every time.

Thank you Henrik for this very clear presentation, that graph showing the strong correlation between the GDP growth and the CO2 emissions growth, and then the pledges to (abruptly) break/decouple the GDP growth from CO2 emissions, is very revealing about the "seriousness" of those agreements.

Taxing directly the fossil fuel extraction companies makes a lot of sense, I think it is similar to the model used for the tobacco industry, tax heavily the producers to dissuade the users from smoking.

Thanks. My hope is that having one such clear coal would focus the environmental movement. There are billions of people who are upset with the state of the world and only a couple of hundred fossil fuel companies.
